Hi

Some friends of mine and I from Australia have been trying to purchase blank cassettes made by TDK in Japan for the Japanese market for several months. Although we have found many listed on auction sites (such as Yahoo) and shopping sites (such as Amazon) we have not been able to find anybody or anywhere who is willing to ship them outside of Japan. They do occasionally appear on eBay in the United States, however, shipping costs from there to Australia are somewhat prohibitive.

I would like to ask if, next time you are in Japan, you could please purchase some for us and post them to us (at our expense, of course)?

The ones we are interested in are the TDK CD'ing series, although we are also interested in the TDK AE series. These cassettes are superior to most of the equivallent versions that are available throughout the rest of the world.

If you do not mind doing this for us, please let me know as soon as possible so that we can start making arrangements for quantity, shipping costs and payment dates. However, as we are all on tight budgets, it will take us a couple of months to save up enough money to make a purchase as we will be looking at buying a fairly large number of the cassettes. We will most likely purchase between 50 and 150, depending exactly on how much it works out each cassette costs and what the shipping rates turn out to be.

To save you the hassle of converting currencies, feel free to state the cost of shipping in Yen. I do not know how much it will cost to ship them to you should you purchase them for us via online shopping sites. Then on top of that is the cost of shipping them to us. I wish to keep this as simple as possible for you if you are happy to purchase them for us so I will do as much of the "leg work" as possible.

A brief question I must ask, should you decide to help us make this purchase, would it be at all possible to send you the money via PayPal?

Whether or not you wish to help us in purchasing these cassettes, I wish to thank you for your time

from Kat

To show you what we are looking for I have provided links to the cassettes in question. These sites are all in Japanese, although if you click on an individual product on the Amazon links there is the option to view the page in English.

Yet, media commentators said Buffett's trip will make only a temporary difference in sales. Only a correct development strategy can aid BYD over the long-term, they reported.
According to the ministry's announcement, BYD signed an agreement with Xi'an in July 2009 to acquire 330 hectares of land and build a 200,giubbotti moncler,000-unit plant.
In the first nine months of this year, BYD moved a total of 386,214 vehicles, abercrombie france, accounting for about 64 percent of its 600,louboutin,000-unit target, abercrombie, which is already a 25 percent cutback from the original goal of 800,000 units.
Corporate facilities constructed on the area in question will be confiscated.

The company aspired to beChina's top automaker by 2015 and a world industry leader by 2025, with annual sales of more than 13 million vehicles.

Its F3 model, retailing between 50,000 and 90,000 yuan, abercrombie and fitch, was ranked the best-selling sedan in the nation.

Fast expansion
Although a newcomer to the auto market in 2003, BYD became one of China's top 10 car producers last year when it sold 448,000 vehicles.
He noted that Chinese carmakers should try to raise profit margins instead of merely selling lots of low-cost cars.

But the company's domestic sales have declined in the past few months. In September, BYD sold only 33,085 cars, a 24.9 percent drop from the same month last year.

Last Wednesday, China's Ministry of Land and Resources said on its website that BYD will be fined 2.95 million yuan ($443,530) for illegally using land in Xi'an, Shaanxi province.

The overall passenger car market increased 19.3 percent in this period.

Homegrown brands are infected with "low-speed phobia," said independent analyst Jia Xinguang in a previous report on Chinese-language media.

The company began construction last December, and so far has built seven factories and other facilities covering 49 hectares.
Due to sluggish sales and high inventory , several BYD dealers quit its sales network in August.
It also said its Xi'an construction projects were still in the initial stages, and had not yet contributed to production, sales or profit.
The automaker faces fine and property seizure for using basic farmland
BYD closed at HK$55.6 ($7.17) on Oct 15, up 1 percent from the closing price of Oct 14.
According to Chinese law and related regulations on land management, companies must get approval from the State Council if they want to build on basic farmland.

BEIJING - Chinese battery and low-cost car manufacturer BYD Co recently hit a bump on its road to become a leading global automaker as it was accused of illegal land use.

Later, moncler, in its filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange, moncler, BYD said the ministry's decision "will have no adverse impact on the company's business operations and financial status".
Analysts agreed the incident will have little negative impact on the company. They noted the fine was small, and said it was possible seized buildings could be returned to BYD after negotiations.

Warren Buffett, who holds a 10 percent stake in BYD, visited its China facilities and attended promotional events last month, confirming his continued support of the automaker .

Analysts said the trouble BYD encountered could be attributed to an overly rapid expansion, a common problem for Chinese brands.

Analysts also said BYD's reckless move of not following regulated procedures in land requisition in Xi'an revealed its eagerness in capacity expansion.
Therefore, it was decided, abercrombie, BYD had violated the rule by only seeking approval from the Shaanxi provincial government.

The ministry did not say how the government would deal with the facilities confiscated, leaving room for possibilities, said Zhang Xin, an auto analyst at Guotai Jun'an Securities.
But of the acquired land, moncler sito ufficiale, nearly 300 hectares is classified as "basic farmland" reserved for agriculture use, doudoune moncler, said the ministry announcement.
